2. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data through our website forms:

• Identity data: full name.
• Contact data: phone number, email address.
• Treatment selection: the dental service you enquire about (e.g. dental implants, veneers, orthodontics). Detailed clinical history is collected separately, in clinic, with your written consent.
• Consent record: the date and time you acknowledged this notice and agreed to processing.
• Technical data: IP address and user-agent string captured at form submission, used solely for security, audit logging and fraud prevention.

3. Lawful basis for processing

We rely on the following lawful bases under Article 6 UK GDPR:

• Article 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract: to manage your booking, confirm your appointment and provide the dental services you have requested.
• Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests: to contact you with structured follow-up calls after treatment, to keep audit logs of website submissions, and to defend ourselves against legal claims.
• Article 6(1)(a) — consent: for any further processing not covered above (for example, if you opt-in to marketing communications, which we do not currently send by default).

4. Recipients and data processors

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the following processors and recipients:

• Resend — our transactional email provider, acting as a data processor under Article 28 UK GDPR. Servers are located within the European Union. Resend receives your name, email address and booking details solely to deliver the appointment-confirmation email.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — the website is hosted on EU-based infrastructure, with contractual safeguards in place.
• Competent authorities — where we are required by law to disclose data (for example, in response to a valid order from a regulator or court).

5. International transfers

Your personal data is stored within the European Union and Turkey. Transfers between the UK and Turkey are covered by appropriate safeguards: we rely on the UK Government's adequacy framework where applicable, and on Standard Contractual Clauses (UK addendum) with our processors where adequacy does not apply. We do not transfer your data to any jurisdiction outside this scope.

6. Retention

We retain personal data submitted through our forms for 2 (two) years from the date of submission. After that period, the data is deleted or anonymised. Clinical records relating to treatment delivered in our clinic may be retained for longer where required by Turkish health regulations.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• Right of access — to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — to have inaccurate data corrected.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to restrict processing — in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability — for data processed by automated means on the basis of consent or contract.
• Right to object — including the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Right to withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent.
